Becky Blanchard, PhD
VP, Clinical Pharmacology and Nonclinical DevelopmentDr. Blanchard is our Vice President of Clinical Pharmacology and Nonclinical Development.
She brings over 25 years of experience in clinical pharmacology and drug development across large and mid-size biopharmaceutical companies. Prior to joining Oruka, she served as President of Rebecca Blanchard Consulting LLC, providing strategic consultation in clinical pharmacology, drug metabolism, pharmacogenetics, and translational research. Before that, she was Vice President of Translational Pharmacology at CRISPR Therapeutics, where she contributed to the development of novel cell and gene therapies. Earlier in her career, she spent over 13 years at Merck, rising to Head of Clinical Pharmacogenomics, where she led and directed clinical pharmacology efforts across multiple programs.
Dr. Blanchard received her Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Chemistry from the University of Utah and completed a post-doctoral fellowship in Pharmacogenetics and Clinical Pharmacology at the Mayo Clinic Alix School of Medicine.
